changing email address

  Hi!
  I wasnt getting the activation email to my previous address, so I would like to change it but I cant change my email address, it says: There was a problem saving your changes. What can i do?
  My previous email address was: (email visible only to moderators and staff), the new one would be: (email visible only to moderators and staff). Thanks for your help! Julia

  Hi,

  Where did you attempt to change the email address? Perhaps you entered it incorrectly. Did you provide the full address?

  The account email address may be changed at Account Settings or in the Account Details section of Personal Settings.

  Hi,
  The problem saving your changes error is often caused by trying to use an email address which is already registered with WordPress.com. If that’s the case you need to choose a different email account to use or log into that other WordPress.com account and change the email so it becomes available again.

  If you’re sure the email is not being used with a WordPress.com account, add “modlook” to the tags for this thread. That will alert a staff member that you need assistance with this issue.
