changing email address

I’ve changed my email address under account settings and it says it’s sending me a confirmation link in the new address. However when that happens, the link takes me to a different wordpress account altogether (it’s my own but not the same email). Meanwhile, the original address change is not being confirmed.

There is a single email address that can be used on only one username account and not on any others, regardless of how many blogs are registered under that username account. The blog’s owner can change the relevant email address on their accounts page at https://wordpress.com/me/account

I have three blogs with three unique email addresses and three different usernames. Yet when I try to change the email address on one of them, the confirmation link goes to a different email address and username. Is it because they’re all coming from the same computer?

I’ve changed my email address under account settings and it says it’s sending me a confirmation link in the new address.
Sounds like the email you’re attempting to change to is already associated with one of your other accounts. You’ll need to change the e-mail on the other account first before updating the e-mail under the account you’re having trouble with.
