Changing Email Address

  I would like to change the email address associated with my blog – michaelfrankpetersonartist – to another email. When I try, I get a confirmation email that says if I changed the address to ignore the email. However, the account won’t change. How do I make the change permanent. I want the email address to be (email visible only to moderators and staff).

  Hi Michael,

  I can see the email address change has gone through now. I believe you do need to click a confirmation link in the email you received just so we know that’s your address. Is that what you did?

  Hi, I have just created my account with wordpress, however it is forcing me to use an email add that does not belong to em and not allowing me to change this. I need to confirm my email add, again this is being sent to an email address that does not belong to me.

  Please go to your account settings page:

  https://wordpress.com/me/account/

  Is the email showing there correct? If so, let me know and I can help you verify it.

  If it’s not correct, please try changing it there. That should send a new confirmation link to the new address.
