Changing email address for wordpress site

I have tried to update the email address for a client’s WordPress site away from his old web-dev guy to my own. Every time it says a confirmation email has been sent to the new email to finalise. But this never comes through.
I have tried two different email addresses. Checked all junk/spam of course. And contacted my email hosting to ensure nothing has been missed in the background, they’ve checked the logs and confirm nothing came through.

https://wordpress.com/forums/topic/change-profile-email-confirmation-not-received/#post-3490697Given that the site is with another host, it’s possible their server just isn’t sending it out. Have them double check logs, localdomain settings, etc. They should be able to sort this out for you.
