Changing Email Address- no confirmation

I am trying to change my contact email address to an “(email visible only to moderators and staff)” and I’m not getting anything showing up in my inbox. It’s been a few hours. Are info@’s not allowed? If so, why? I haven’t gotten anything saying that they’re *not* permitted.

Thanks for checking your spam folder. The confirmation email will have been sent to the new email address (not the one you are currently using), are you checking your inbox there?

If you are checking the new email address and a confirmation email still hasn’t come through, can you confirm which one you want to use? You can type it here as normal and I’ll be able to see it but it’ll be hidden from public view.

Our emails to that address are bouncing with a timeout error, which would indicate there’s a problem with the mailbox we’re trying to send it to.
Can you please check with your email provider and make sure everything is properly configured? Are you able to receive other emails at that address?
Also try adding donotreply[at]wordpress.com to your contacts list, and then try updating the email again to see if the email goes through then.

Hi, I seem to be getting Wp notifications now, but I’m still not getting a confirmation link. I’ve also added the donotreply address.
