changing email address not succesful

    I tried to change my emailadress (email visible only to moderators and staff) in (email visible only to moderators and staff) but I receive the message that the new name is already there? Strange…

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi marcvandeven,

    That’s correct — (email visible only to moderators and staff) is connected to another WordPress.com account. It will need to be removed from the current one before it can be added to another though.

    If you are unable to remember the password, please enter the email address into the Lost Password form:

    https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword

    Once you’ve reset the password and logged into the account, adding a different email address to the Account Settings page will remove (email visible only to moderators and staff) and free it up for use on your marcvandeven account.
