Changing email for this blog.

  I need to change the email on my blog to my main email. Unfortunately I have two other wordpress blogs (one I can’t find the signin for at all). So when I try to change this one to the same email as my other blog, it says the email is already in use and it won’t let me. Argh! What to do?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  You can only use one email address per account, since it allows for a unique identifier. So you have a number of options, if you want both accounts with the same email, and you still want two accounts, depending on your email provider you can work around this. With Gmail:

  Gmail lets you add “+something” to your mailbox name and still get your mail. For example, (email visible only to moderators and staff) and (email visible only to moderators and staff) and (email visible only to moderators and staff) each look like different addresses to our system but they all route mail to the same inbox: (email visible only to moderators and staff).

  And with Hotmail/Outlook, you can create aliases, which will just feed in to your regular email anyway.

  Otherwise, you could just bring all the blogs you want, to one account, by inviting the account you want to be an administrator of the blog (connected to the account you don’t want). Or you could transfer the blog to the account you want to keep (http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/#transferring-your-blog-to-another-user-or-account)
