changing email notifications for comments

I have changed my admin email on my dashboard but continue to get comment notifications sent to the old email address I had in. Is there a special place to turn on/off comment notifications? I am going on vacation and get many a day and really need to get them somewhere else or stop them for a bit.

Did you change the email address under settings > general? That is the admin email for your account and that is where the emails will be sent. After changing it you will receive a confirmation email that you must respond to in order for the change to take effect. If you did not get the confirmation email, then check your ISP email folder as they sometimes get caught there.
All of the settings for comments and such are in your dashboard at settings > discussion.

Yes, I did that..the new email appears on my general settings/admin settings but the mail is still going to the old email address. I did do the confimation email addy.
I don’t know why it hasn’t transfered the address yet. I did it yesterday and as I said,it does show up as my address for here. -
Check under users > your profile and change the email address there also. It should not make a difference, but then again who knows?
