I’ve been trying to change my email for days now, but it doesn’t seem to work. I can’t seem to change from my old email to my new email. The pages always keep the old, and I never got the confirmation on my new email account. @@ need help…

In this case it sounds like you have done things correctly without success. That means you require staff help. Staff do monitor these threads and will get to your blog as soon as they can. Thanks for posting your details here.

I’m having the same problem. I tried changing my email in profile and in Options. No luck. It says it’s sending a confirmation email, but nothing happens and it when the page reloads, the old email address is still there.

You are on the wrong page. You cannot change your email address on the “Your Profile” page. You need to do this change on the “options” page.

There is a definite issue with changing the email address recently: I noticed it on Thursday afternoon. I think it needs a staff fix, but it will probably have to wait till Monday for that now, since Support is closed for the weekend.

Yup. tried it there too. I’m not too worried about it now. I’ll deal with it on Monday. Thanks!

hey… i changed my email recently.. i faced problem initially as I have another blog with the same id so i had to create a new id !

Do you mean the email address on the contact form (the one on the profile page)? It never worked for me the first time, but I’ve finally figured it out now:
1. Go to ‘Users’ on the dashboard.
2. Then go to ‘Authors & Users’ on the menu.
3. Edit the email address(es) for the blog(s) shown. When that’s done, go back to ‘My Profile’ to change the contact email address.
