In the 2016 theme, in the post editor, is there a way to change both the font and the size of the font?

    My site is at writerhoward.wordpress.com.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • Hi there,

    This is not theme-specific.

To change the font and font size for your entire site, go to My Site ->Design ->Customize ->Fonts. You can adjust the font for headings, and for content text on your site, there:

    Change Your Site’s Fonts

To only do this in one post, if you’re using the block editor, you can change the font size in the settings for an individual block. That will change the font size for the entire block.

    Paragraph Block

If you’re using the classic editor, or you only want to change the font size for selected words in a paragraph, you’ll have to use span tags with inline CSS in the HTML view of the editor.

You cannot change the font type in the editor – that can only be done in the Customizer for the entire site.
