Changing font color just for specific category of post

    Is there a way to edit the CSS code (something I’ve only done a little) to set a font color just for a specific post category (e.g. “events”)? I’m using the Soundcheck theme and the “Events” widget/post format pulls up the extra info underneath in the default font color. The problem is that this makes it very difficult to read against the pale drop-down background. I can change the font color manually when I post, but it would be much easier to set it automatically, particularly for when I’m adding shows from my mobile app (which is terrible).

    Here is a snippet so you can see all the extra spans and codes changing the colors and underlining:

    What this means is that you’ve manually adjusted the text color inside the post. It’s possible to make changes like that using the WordPress.com visual editor, but it’s also possible that you cut and pasted the cotent from another source and all of that extra code was transferred when you pasted.

    To fix it, I would recommend copying the text, pasting it into the text editor, and then switching back to the visual editor and re-applying the formatting from scratch.
