The website i need help with is http://www.blu-screens.com
Hi’ i’ve got a few problems i need help with.
I would like to change the post title font and menus from Proxima to Georgia and change font size. Can’t get it to work with CSS.And is there any way to hide the time when the post was made.
Also is there someway you can sort order in categories. For example all the films i have in the Martin Scorsese shows up in the order i’ve posted them, but i would like to show them maybe in alphabetical or chronoligal order sorted after production year.
Lot of questions, hopefully someone could shed some light on this.
Thanks!

Good news and bad news. Yes, these things can be done but, most can’t be done on a WordPress.com blog. You would need a self-hosted blog to use custom fonts because the custom font has to be uploaded to the server and there is no access to the server on a WordPress.com blog. To alphabetize the categories, you would need access to the php files, which is also not allowed on a WordPress.com blog.
Good news, to remove the timestamp, add this to your CSS
.postmetadata {
display: none;
}Hope this helps!

I did a little more research and found I may have been wrong on the fonts answer. Let me keep looking and I’ll get back to you!

Since Georgia is a system font that most Macs and PCs already have installed, there’s actually no need to call in a special font file – you can just declare it in the CSS.
To change font of the menu and post titles on the homepage, add this to your custom CSS:
h2.posttitle, #nav { font-family: Georgia, Times, serif; }To change the size, add something like this:
.wf-active .main article.post-archive .entry h2 { font-size: 30px; } #nav { font-size: 12px; }For example all the films i have in the Martin Scorsese shows up in the order i’ve posted them, but i would like to show them maybe in alphabetical or chronoligal order sorted after production year.
As supportmyoffice mentioned earlier, sorting in a way other than reverse-chronological order isn’t possible. Two workarounds:
– Manually change the publication date to create the order you like
– Use the display-posts shortcode with the orderby parameter
