Changing Font of Menu in Edin Theme

    Hello!

    I’m wondering if there is a way to change the default menu font, and if there is a list of fonts available to choose from? I have the css upgrade ready for action!

    Best,

    Hi there, I see you have set a font for headings and body text in the Customizer. The menu takes on the same font as the body. Are you wanting to change that to a different font, or are you happy with what you have now with the custom fonts.

    Hello! Thank you for your response, is there a way to set the menu to a different font from the body?

    You can set it to the same as your headings with the following CSS.

    .primary-navigation a {
        font-family: chaparral-pro-1,chaparral-pro-2,"PT Sans",sans-serif;
        font-variant: normal;
        font-weight: 400;
    }

    If you wish to change it to a different font, you can change it to something that would be installed on all computer systems, but you cannot set it to a different Typekit font than the two you have currently set at Appearance > Customize > Fonts. You can only set the heading and body. Here is a good resource for standard cross-platform font stacks.
    If you wish to change the font to one of the above stacks, you can instead use the following and insert the font stack (list) of your choice.

    .primary-navigation a {
        font-family: Times New Roman, Times New Roman, Times, serif;
    }

    Hi rcherill,
    How did you get the menu to look like you did? That is what I am looking for on my site, but can’t seen to get it there. Nice job!

    @iconimagery, can we have a link to the site you are talking about? I see quite a few associated with your username and don’t want to grab the wrong one.
