Changing font of tagline
-
The tagline shows up on the header photo, but I have a long description here and need the font to be smaller.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Also, under fonts there is only the theme font, and no others to choose from. Is there a way to bring in new fonts to use? Sorry, I’m so new to this.

Hi there,
To change the font: Under the Customizer’s Fonts panel, you can see the available fonts. However, if you want more choices, you can use Adobe Typekit with the Premium plan or the Business plan.
To make the font of tagline smaller: You need to add CSS code. However, please be aware that the feature of adding CSS code comes with the Premium plan or the Business plan. If you are able to use this feature, please add the following CSS code.
.site-description { font-size: 12px; }For more information about the Custom CSS function, you can read this: https://en.support.wordpress.com/custom-css/
I hope this info helps you :)
Thanks! -
@dwellinginbeta: We do provide some fonts that come from Adobe Typekit, but we don’t offer the ability to connect new Typekit accounts:
There’s also a comparison of the WordPress.com plans here if you’re considering an upgrade:
