Changing Font Pairing
-
Hi! I chose a font pairing and I am looking to change it. There doesn’t seem to be the font menu in my customize panel. How do I get the font menu or change the font pairing?

Hi! I just started the blog yesterday and it required me to choose a set of fonts when I chose Bowen. Later, I changed the theme to Twenty Twenty One and the font would not change to the default Twenty Twenty One font which I prefer.
Thank you!

Hi there,
So to confirm, http://hazelandsage.wordpress.com/ is the site in reference? I checked and see that you were using the Coutoire Theme before you changed to Twenty Twenty One. Coutoire is typography driven theme that may have features that Twenty Twenty One does not. Is it a different site and/or theme you were referring to?

Yes! That is the site and theme.
I changed to Twenty Twenty One and cannot get rid of the font selection from Coutoire. I would like the default font for Twenty Twenty One. -
To switch back to the default font, you need to go to Design -> Customize. Next, choose “Fonts” and on the next screen if it doesn’t show “Default Theme Font”, there should be an “X” next to the font name. Clicking that “X” will revert the font back to the default for that particular theme.
I hope that clarifies things! Let us know if you still have trouble.

Thanks @abbyyys. This does seem to be a bug. I’ve found a filing and noted your case, so we’ll follow up as soon as we have more details.
If you’re willing, you might also briefly switch back to Coutoire, fix the font paring (which in this case would likely be under Global Styles in your editor rather than under Customize) and then switch back.
