Changing font size

I want to change the size of some of the font on a page to give this more emphasis but without changing the size of the font in the same sentence. The only way I can see to change Every time I try to do this though the font for the entire sentence changes thus negating the effect. How can I do this?

If you want to adjust the size of specific paragraphs, you can use the predefined format settings as seen here:
If you want to adjust the visibility of your font within sentences, I do advise you use the bold, italic, or underline functions. If you adjust the font size of just a couple words within a sentence, it’ll change the line height in a way that will make your paragraphs look messy.
However, if you go ahead and opt to do this, you’ll need to add HTML code in the Text tab of your post editor. If you’ve not worked with HTML before, here are links to our beginning and advanced HTML guides:
