Changing font size and font
-
Hi,
I read up that i need to sign up to typekit to be able to get a typekit ID which then needs to be enabled on my wordpress blog to gain access to different fonts and font sizes. I have set up an account with typekit but have no idea where to look for my typekit ID. Any ideas? WordPress suggests under Kit Editor, but i can’t fin this.
Thanks. The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Appearance > Typekit Fonts says:
“You can find your Typekit ID on typekit.com under Kit Editor > Embed Code.”Note that Typekit allows you to change fonts, not font sizes.

Hi – I actually get really frustrated by Typekit. Different browsers give very different appearances. I’ve been told my blog looks crowded and faded, and only when seeing it on their computer did I see what she meant. Nor is Typekit very user friendly, and it takes a long time for your selections to appear on the site.
Anyone know if it’s absolutely necessary to go through Typekit? Why can’t there be a range of WordPress fonts?

They could offer any number of fonts, but they would still present the same problems as Typekit. Different browsers display fonts differently, and fonts can only be viewed on computers that have that font installed.
It’s unlikely, unless you’re a web designer, that you can do a better job than the people who designed the themes, so I generally recommend just going ahead and blogging once you find a template you can live with.
