Have you consulted the information at these links?

I can customize the headers and the body text. I’m just wondering how to customize the title of the blog. It doesn’t seem to allow me this option? if that is truly the case, then I guess I’m stuck with this font for the blog title.

The Appearance > Customize > Fonts panel applies fonts in a way that has been decided by a theme developer. You may customize the title of the blog further using the CSS editor. Let me show you an example of how to do it:
#page #site-title h1, #page #site-title h2 { font-family: "Droid Sans", Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; }This method will only work with a web font if it has already been saved in your Appearance > Customize > Fonts panel. Since “Droid Sans” is one of your font selections already, you can use it to adjust the site title in this case. If you wanted to use a different font after that, you could try using a font stack which is a list of fonts that a browser will try and it will display the first one that is installed on the viewers computer. There are some generally accepted lists of safe fonts which are installed on most computers and they’re pretty common choices for font stacks. You can read more about how font stacks work at http://web.archive.org/web/20131010010610/http://unitinteractive.com/blog/2008/06/26/better-css-font-stacks/
