Changing font style of individual menu item without CSS?

  Is it possible to change the font style (bold, color) of an individual menu item in the navigation bar without using CSS?

  I’m using the personal plan with theme Twenty Ten which has a horizonal navigation bar beneath a photo banner. I’m wondering if I need to upgrade to Premium to use CSS, or if there is another way.

  To style one, or all menu items, you would need the WordPress.com Premium or WordPress.com Business plan.

  There is no way to change the styling on a menu item without CSS.

  Thank you. And with CSS, it is possible to change the style of just one item in the menu, correct? (I just want to be certain!) :-)

  You are welcome, and yes, each menu item has a unique menu id CSS class that we can use to target an individual menu item.
