Newbie here. Sorry if this has been answered a lot. I searched and couldn’t find anything on it. I bought the CSS upgrade. I also activated the Typekit Fonts. I want to change some fonts on my page…..how can I do so?

The Typekits Font site has instructions for wordpress.com users that you can follow.
There is also a tutorial here >http://getook.wordpress.com/2010/01/04/typekit-guide-change-your-fonts/ -
If you have CSS editing experience, you can get the paid custom CSS upgrade and renew it annually. It will allow you to stylize the appearance of themes you find here > Appearance > Themes, but it does not allow you to change the functionality, by editing the underlying template. Also note that CSS is theme specific, so you cannot use the CSS stylesheets from other themes with the themes here at wordpress.COM.
Since there is no official Staff support for the CSS upgrade, and precious little Volunteer support, I recommend that you don’t buy the upgrade unless you have at least moderate understanding of HTML and CSS because you must be prepared to do the work on your own.
If you are considering purchasing the upgrade, you can go to Appearance > Edit CSS. There wordpress has provided a preview function where you can try before you buy.

This post has been published by the Volunteer who usually helps with CSS editing, when he has the time to do so. http://csswiz.wordpress.com/2009/10/15/if-you-have-the-wp-com-css-upgrade/
I’m afraid you will have to patiently wait until he or another Volunteer with CSS editing experience logs in, finds this thread and offers to help you.

Where do you want to make the changes? Messing with the CSS gets tricky if you don’t know much about it. To change the main font for the whole of your blog you can do:
body {font-family:times;}And if you want to change other particular areas to different fonts then you can use the same style format in the {braces} but change the selector. Try swapping “body” for some of the selectors below.
h1#title, div#nav, div.post-header h2, div.comments, div.date, h2.widgettitle
They should all be fairly self-explanatory but if you do need more help then make some specific requests and I’ll take a look.
