Changing from a thirdparty host webshop to WordPress.
-
Hi, I already own a webshop, through a norwegian webshop provider. Would there be a way to upload the products by copying all the products from that website to a WordPress e-shop, if i created one. I am talking about roughly 2100+ products. I do have a google sheet of all the products, as i am already running ads on them.
Can anyone help me out?

Hi there,
With the WordPress.com eCommerce Plan, you can easily create a WooCommerce store and import your preexisting products. If you already have a Google sheet of all of your products, it should be fairly straightforward to create a CSV file and upload it to import your products.
Here’s a reference regarding how to use the product importer: https://woocommerce.com/document/product-csv-importer-exporter/
Here’s a reference that goes in-depth on the WordPress eCommerce Plan: https://wordpress.com/support/plan-features/ecommerce-plan/
I hope this helps!

Hi there, we recommend using WooCommerce for eCommerce functionality here, and WooCommerce can import from CSV or XML files: https://woocommerce.com/document/import-and-export-of-woocommerce-products/
If your current eCommerce provider can export in a compatible way, then that will definitely work. :)
