Changing from .com to .org

    Hello,

    Is there an idiots guide to changing my existing blog snookerbacker.com from wordpress.com to .org.

    Please forgive the stupid questions but how I understand it is:

    1. I need to contact one of the recommended web hosts?
    2. They do the switch for me?
    3. I am then fully responsible for the upkeep etc of the site?

    What I really want to ask is this:

    1. Can I keep all the features of wordpress.com if I do this? The image/widgets and all the other great tools?
    2. If I change to .org am I allowed to have affiliates? I have been approached by a few wanting to arrange something with me next year?
    3. Just any other general advice from anyone that has done this?
