Changing from displaying full post to clickable excerpts

Am using Cocoa theme and have adjusted reading setting to show summary rather than full post, and saved this. But it’s not working! Any ideas please anyone? I am not a coder!

Hi there,
It sounds like it could be a browser issue. Have you tried clearing the cache and cookies? Sometimes when pages won’t display correctly it could just be a matter of changing your browser settings, refreshing the page, or clearing the browser cache and cookies.

That particular setting controls whether the rss feed will display excepts or the whole post at https://eatdrinksleepmallorca.com/feed/
It will not create excerpts on the front end of your site.
If you’d like to create excerpts on the front end of the site, you can insert the “More tag” into posts:
