Changing from Wix

  Hello !
  We are a student driven organisation. We currently have a website through WIX but we have our domain: http://www.nasim.dk elsewhere. We would like to change to WordPress, and we were wondering; can we use the plugin CMS2CMS to convert our website from Wix to WordPress, if we have cancelled our subscription at Wix already?

  Hi there,

  You can use CMS2CMS, but that is regarding migrating to the self-hosted version of WordPress:

  That would require purchasing a plugin-enabled plan such as the Business Plan

  
  However, you can indeed migrate your site from Wix over to WordPress.com via the normal importer. Do you still have access to your site content from Wix? If so, this method should work for you. You would have to select a new theme from WordPress.com because themes from Wix cannot be imported, but the process is straightforward.
