Changing from wordpress.com to .com

    Hi there,
    I am considering to change my wordpress.com to only.com but I have already done lots of marketing materials with wordpress.com.if I amend now would potential clients be redirected to my new website ?

    Hi there,

    Your WordPress.com blog comes with a free address, like trulynaturalphotography.wordpress.com in your case. You can get rid of the .wordpress.com part and use a custom domain name instead, like trulynaturalphotography.com if it is available.

    You can then set your custom domain as the primary domain.

    Your domain hides your free WordPress.com address (trulynaturalphotography.wordpress.com), and your trulynaturalphotography.wordpress.com subdomain will remain attached to your site as the non-primary domain. Your clients will be redirected to your custom domain if they type in the free blog address.

    Visitors can get to your blog using any of the domains you added, but the address they see in their browser’s address bar will always be the primary domain.
