Changing from WordPress hosted TO WordPress Paid

  Hello,
  I have a site hosted on WordPress. My question is how easy or difficult will it be to change that to a WordPress hosted paid site?

  I am currently using a WP theme, which I love and would like to keep as much of my site together as possible. I am trying another branded site name but do not like my theme options, or the amount of work required to get half of what I currently have. Nor do I like the cost!
  Please advise.

  Yes, I am trying to change my site from the hosted site to a paid word press.com site. I don’t want to pay for a year, up front then find out that I cannot move my site.
  Does that make sense?
  I don’t have any questions about my current site, I am trying to find out IF and HOW I can change this to the paid site.

  Have you checked if the theme you are currently using is available at WordPress.com? If it is a WordPress.org only theme then it could only be used here by upgrading to the Business plan. https://wordpress.com/themes
  You could transfer your domain to WordPress.com or keep it where it is and map it to a WordPress.com site with an upgraded plan.
