Changing from wordpress.com to wordpress.org

Hey there,
November last year I purchased the domain http://www.skeletonchild.com for my website hosted by wordpress.com. I am a photography student and this year we are required to edit and create our own site from scratch with wordpress.org installed in it, so I went through a very lengthly process of becoming hosted by http://www.crazydomains.co.nz and re-purchasing the http://www.skeletonchild.com url there. The problem now is that I am unable to edit or see my new site because I am automatically directed back to my http://www.wordpress.com website. I cannot see the changes I am trying to make for my new site or even install wordpress.org on it, and this class project needs to be completed within the week.
I have tried to delete my domain name from http://www.wordpress.com but it comes up with an error message saying I can’t because of the domain being registered.
Is any admin able to completely delete my blog off this site and the domain name?Many thanks,

You have a couple of issues –
skeletonchild.com – is registered here – you did not purchase the domain name from whoever – you need to change the name servers to your new host – once that is done skeletonchild.com will go to the correct place

Thank you for the replies, because I have transfered the domain name over to my new hosting website I followed the link auxclass had given me, and as I did yesturday, changed the servers over again.
The problem is that it continues to flick back to ‘wordpress servers’ and not the options I have put it, so I am back at the very beginning.
