Changing gallery options within a custom theme

  So, I built a WP website and installed a custom theme. I like almost everything about it, but I prefer the “stock” mosaic galleries that come with a standard install of wordpress (if that makes sense).

  The mosaic gallery that comes with the theme I chose doesn’t actually tile and the thumbnails come out looking really dumb. Is there a way to just revert it back to the normal mosaic style? I don’t know much about coding, so it would have to be a simple cut-and-paste option, or ideally changing out a single file in the theme.

  Note the spacing, the “moving” thumbnails and the way it crops the images.

  Much more aesthetically pleasing in my opinion.

  We cannot help you here with that site. We provide support only for free hosted WordPress.COM blogs and you are posting to the wrong support forum.

  WordPress.com and WordPress.org have different log-ins and run different versions of themes with same names. If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post to the support forums there and receive advice from WordPress.ORG bloggers.
