Changing google analytic ID tracking number in header.php file in wordpress.
-
I changed domain on my website. I’m trying to update a google analystics tracking ID in header.php file in wordpress. Now I see the tracking ID for my old domain in header.php global site tag with all this language and I thought if I just update manually the ID number(only numbers) and press update file, it should work. I did it and it worked just for several minutes and then the id changed to to old domain tracking id. Please help with your advise. I’m not a developer. thank you in a advance
