Changing Gravatar

When i enter my profile to change my Gravatar just an empty square pops up that tells me to close it if it does’nt by itself. When i do i’m back where i started and can do it all over again forever it seems.
Is it some program my computer lacks? It’s been like this for long now but used to work.

It’s been broken so long – at least for a good number of people – that its brokenness is now a feature – blavatars too.
It took me about ten tries to change my blavatar the other day and found that the only way I could get it to take was when the crop window came up, I had to grab one of the handles, move it in and then back out to where it was and then it would take.

I went through three pictures before deciding on one for my gravatar. While the gravatar on my edit profile page has changed, the little icon in the corner of the login remains the first one and the image when I post my gravatar on my page remains the second one. It did say it would take an hour so be patient…but it’s been like…5 now? I’m beginning to wonder if somehow it won’t change.
