changing header image

  • Unknown's avatar

I am trying to change my header image.
Every time I press browse to choose a picture, it is as if the option has disappeared. There is nothing. No availability. All my prodding and poking produces a text box. What the hell?
    Is this a Mac problem?
Can someone please advise me what to do?

Are you using Safari on your Mac?

It’s entirely possible that it is a Safari (rather than a Mac) problem. It’s known that wp.com doesn’t play nice with Safari. If you are able, try installing Firefox for Mac and try the whole thing again.

Let us know how you get on!

WP.com plays very, very nicely with Mozilla’s SeaMonkey for Mac.

I want WP.com to play nicely with Safari. Any other ideas about how to get around the whole disappearing act with the browse option for new headers?

Have Safari fully support javascript. The best example of this is that you can’t use the rich text editor here fully with Safari. It’s called TinyMCE and is from a different group of programmers.

The issue is on Safari’s end.
