Changing header image (image on homepage)
-
I’ve tried changing the header image but everytime I upload it, it says the new header is the current header but it keeps displaying the old default image, even when saved and published.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Does the header display if you use a different browser, just in case it’s a really strong cookie or something?
For that matter, have you tried to customise it on a different browser?
Using Chrome on a PC, I was able to use my test site to change the header on that theme to a picture of chocolate bars that have all since been eaten, which makes me sad:

Unfortunately it’s made no difference! I can see that it refreshes, but it doesn’t change the image. :(

Hi @micsnetworkblog !
I can see the new header image here:
https://micsnetworkblog.wordpress.com/2016/07/22/blog-post-title-2/The tricky thing here is that the front page of the Gateway theme uses a *featured* image instead of a header image.
Can you edit the page, add that image as featured, and see if that does the trick for you?

ah, thanks for your help. I realise now the reason I can’t update the featured image is because I have yet to activate the account, which I can’t do because the email doesn’t seem to be coming through, I have checked spam etc. However, I received emails regarding this forum so I know the email address is correct. I’ve had to post a separate discussion about getting hold of the activation email. Hopefully once that’s been sorted I will be able to change the header image. If not… I’ll be back!
thanks again.
