Changing header picture
-
OK, I am sure the answer is somewhere but I haven’t been able to find it. I have uploaded a picture to use on my home page instead of the default one my theme came with (a camel) but it won’t stay. So, I go into edit the page and the picture I want is the featured image so I click update and then preview and it is there. If I then click on my “about” page and go back to the previous page, the camel is back and not my featured image.
I would appreciate any help anyone can give me so that I can fix this. It is driving me crazy.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi. That’s called a header image. If you want to get rid of the camel altogether, go to Appearance > Header and upload a new image (which will apply to all of your blog, except those places where you have a featured image).

Thank you for the help. I thought I had done that but I guess I uploaded it for something else!

You are welcome. Did you know that you can set up the use of a nickname as your display name rather than that very long one? The long one will only appear in the forum threads you post into. The display name will appear everywhere else.
