changing header size in Grisaille theme

  Hello, I know, I know I have read about 50 ‘changing the header’ size threads… I want to make the required 960 width to a 1100 width. I have already made the canvas/body/container to the 1100px. Although, there is that little div#.post-link sq thing that shows up on Firefox… not sure how to get rid of it. I could fix it if I could edit the HTML, but don’t know how to override it in the css. Any help would be greatly appreciated. As with other posters, the dang WP automatically causes me to crop it too…
