Changing Header Text

  Hi all…

  New to WordPress and I am wondering if the text on the header of the free blog can be altered or hidden (My site name & “Just another WordPress.com weblog”)?

  You can change them under Settings->General. You can’t change the URL of the blog, but you can change the displayed name and the tagline.

  Ugh. I am such a gomer. Saw it as soon as I went back to my page.

  It can be altered by going to Settings in the dashboard, changing the blog title and tagline, and saving those changes. You may need to scroll down to see the save button.

  If you really don’t want any text at all, that can usually be accomplished if you know some CSS.
