Changing header text

  I can’t for the life of me remember how to change the header text / title

  Dashboard -> Setting
  There should be boxes that say “Blog Title” and “Tagline”.

  @guerro – please link your user name to your blog as explained in the sticky at the top of the forum:

  Go into your dashboard -> users -> your profile -> then scroll down to ‘contact info’. In the spot where it says ‘website’ fill in the address of your blog and save the changes.
  Now… when you comment here and on other blogs, your name will link to your blog. If you do this before you post your request for help, it will allow forum volunteers to be able to help you quicker since they won’t have to ask you for a link and wait until you come back to post one.

  Actually title is fine now. However, I’d like to clear out some of the stuff on the right, maybe just keep pages, archives and the calendar. Not sure how to do it.

  To change your sidebar widgets, just go to Design->Widgets and start playing around. The minute you change something the default widget set will be wiped out and you can put in only those things you want there.
