changing header types across pages?

Hello!
I am new to this, clearly.
I am using the Sydney theme, and I have a bit of a complex issue.
I am using a static page as my front page. The static page takes you to my homepage, which has a slider header.However, the slider headers remain for the other pages in the website, and I would really like to edit such that there are no sliders for these pages. Is there anyway to do this?
