Changing Homepage Background with Pique Theme

    Hi,

    The background on my homepage won’t change from transparent. I glanced at the the Theme Editor and played around a little but can’t figure out how to make the background a simple white. Any suggestions?

    Hi Andrea, your site isn’t hosted here on our servers, so it’s a lot harder to see what’s going on with your installation.

    But I can tell you Pique is specifically designed for a darker color scheme like that, and has built in “overlays” over the pictures to make them easier to read. It’s got shadow on the text and what not too, to help it stand out from the background. Do you intend to use that feature? If not, you could override it with quite a bit of CSS, or it may make sense to choose another close theme and use that.
