Changing homepage picture in the “Bute” theme

  Hello,
  I am trying to change the homepage picture in the “Bute” theme. It’s currently stuck on ocean picture.

  Bute https://wordpress.com/theme/bute is a full site editing theme. To change the image on the theme’s front page, you’ll need to edit the front page template and Replace the Cover Image there with your image. https://wordpress.com/support/templates/edit-a-template/

  Open the Front Page template in Appearance>Site Editor https://wordpress.com/support/site-editor/

  1. Click to open List view at the top of the screen https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress-editor/use-list-view/
  2. Next, open the Group in List view so that you see the Cover block https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress-editor/blocks/cover-block/
  3. Next, use the Replace function to change the background image https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress-editor/blocks/cover-block/#replace-image

  

  Lastly, save your changes.
