Changing homepage URL?

    I recently created a splash screen for my blog, and I’m trying to make it my homepage rather than the typical long form version that comes up for most WP users. I know the only way to do that is to change the URL, but there doesn’t seem to be any way of doing it. I tried redirecting/forwarding it through my domain provider, and that has caused my blog to be unavailable (probably because the forwarding URL going to my splash screen is the same as the blog page).

    Does anybody have any idea on how to change my homepage URL? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
