  Can anyone tell me how to change the picture that is used as your website’s icon picture, i.e. The blue square with the white “W” for WordPress

  The picture that is used as a website’s icon is derived from your Blavatar (blog+avatar). Here’s a support document with instructions on how you may go about doing so:
