changing identities for multiple blogs under one profile

To clarify — the gravatars were correct, then they changed! As mentioned, I even went in and edited the email address for each comment, hoping that would trigger WP to show the avatar for Jaxsine instead of srinderle. No luck.

Hi – sure, you can see any of the comments Jaxsine did on the site until 4/3. Here’s the most recent post and comments: http://evolving2012.wordpress.com/2013/03/18/40-days-for-life-10-reasons-for-choice/#comments

Ok, I see. These seem to have been left while you were logged in to srinderle, so they can’t be adjusted by just changing the email address.
At this point, I recommend just leaving the comments again as the desired account and deleting the undesired comments.
-
Ah! A brilliant idea! When I repost the comments, can I backdate them so they appear the date they were supposed to have been left? How will that affect the thread of responses (someone who commented on my comment…..?)
-
Yes, if you edit the comment after leaving it, you can adjust the date via the box to the right.
Unfortunately, any replies below the deleted comment will be unattached, and there is no way to reattach them to the desired comment.

HALLELUJAH PRAISE THE LORD AND AYAYAYAYAYAAYYYYY! That was super tedious but now the problem is SOLVED and my super anonymous blogger identity is safe! macmanx thank you so much for your patience and persistence. What boss-like figure would you recommend I sing your praises to? Where do I sent the bouquet of roses and the Starbucks gift card? No, really!!! :-) I am a very happy camper now!!

Well, you ROCK anyway! I’m no curmudgeon by any standards, but will say that there are plenty of folks out here “just doing their jobs” that do a sucky job at whatever!! I don’t take you for granted! May this week be full of satisfying and hilarious moments for you!
