Changing Image Caption Text through CSS
-
I’m testing the CSS custom design feature using the preview to see if it will provide for the effects I want. I’m trying to increase the size of the font (an image caption) under the logo that appears on the upper-right of http://motoringforward.wordpress.com
I’ve tried setting color and size properties through the custom CSS design tab for p.wp-caption-text but nothing seems to have any effect. I might just have the wrong selector or completely have botched the syntax. Any help would be appreciated.

Ha, great image in the “key to happiness” post! :)
To adjust the font size of the caption in the image widget at the top of your sidebar, try adding this:
#content .wp-caption .wp-caption-text { font-size: 14px; }Adjust the number if needed.
To find that selector, I right-clicked on the caption in my browser, selected the “Inspect Element” option, and looked around in the CSS that showed up for anything that adjusted font-size.
