Hi,
The homepage of your site https://johnandrewegan.wordpress.com/ is evidently a static page. It’s content includes a Blog Posts Listing Block and another block that displays the image, probably a Cover Block. Both of these blocks, and any others in the page content, should be readily detectable in the page editor, as long as you are using the Block Editor. If the image is produced by a Cover Block, then see the Edit Image section of the Cover Block support page for instructions on how to replace the image.

Sorry, I guess that you were referring to this page: https://johnandrewegan.wordpress.com/blog-feed/, which I hadn’t found due to your site not displaying a menu. The large image near the top of that page seems to be in the content of the post titled “My First Post,” which is marked sticky. I’d guess again that the image is produced by a Cover Block. If the image is produced by a Cover Block, then see the Edit Image section of the Cover Block support page for instructions on how to replace the image.
