Changing image size in gallery attachment page

  Does anyone know if there is a way to change the size an image shows up as in a gallery attachment page (after you have already completed the gallery)?
  I want to have the the “previous” and “next” options (described here: http://wpbtips.wordpress.com/2009/03/24/navigation-in-attachment-pages/#comments) visible when the page loads rather than having viewers have to scroll down for the links.

  Oh, and I would also love to center the image if it’s possible.
