changing jetpack sharedaddy email share source email

  • Unknown's avatar

Sharing a post via email by using Jetpack’s Sharedaddy’s email button results in the recipient receiving an email from the (email visible only to moderators and staff) rather than from either the subdomains email address or the actual sender’s address. Any way to change this default in the script and specify an alternate email source? Recipients of an email share shouldn’t see the email address of our main domain.

Although WordPress.com is not hosting our site (nor is WordPress.org) we are registered and connected to WordPress.com and using the Jetpack Sharedaddy widgets. The widget script is the issue we addressed, not a hosting configuration. I would assume you support the plug-ins you offer, but if not I can easily remove them from our site.

Jetpack is not supported here at wordpress.COM forums, it has its own forums and website at http://jetpack.me/support/ . The volunteers here in the wordpress.COM forums have little to no knowledge of it.

Actually they don’t have a forum, but at the bottom of the page I reference is a contact form link that you can use to contact them.
