Changing language of themes to English
-
Hi there!
I registered as German at WordPress and now try to create a website in English. Unfortunately I can only seem to change language of Interface and Blog.
When I now choose a theme there are parts of it which are still in German (eg. ‘Über’ instead of ‘About’, ‘Kontakt’ instead of ‘Contact’ etc.). How can I change those to English without bigger complications. Your help would be appreciated! Thank you!The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi!
I know about blog / interface.
I just edited the theme with a different language and it stays that way when choosing other themes. Which is what I was aiming for here!
Thanks nontheless! Please delete this post or at least my forename and link to blog (I didn’t think this was gonna be public)!
Thx + Apologies! -
Hi there,
Did you figure this out? Menu elements will change if you change your site’s language settings, but content, referring to both post/page content as well as their titles and their menu labels, will not. To change the language of a menu item, you’ll need to either edit the page title if using the default menu, or the custom menu if applicable.

Yup! Figured this out as I said! Just switched on ‘modlook’ to find someone to delete post / link to blog as I can’t seem to do it myself. Could you please do this? Thanks!

We don’t delete forum threads, but I’ve removed the link to your site.
Note that your username still links to your site as well. If you want to remove that, you can edit the Website field in your account settings:
