Changing Layout with CSS upgrade & Links to domain

  Hi,

  I’m considering paying for the CSS upgrade and downloading the a layout from WordPress Themes (http://www.wpthemesfree.com/index.php?category=Plain&page=2). However, I’ve noted that some of my friends’ url have changed from ______.wordpress.com to http://www.blog._______.com.

  Would my upgrade to paid CSS change my url? And if it does, is there anyway I can divert traffic from my old domain to the new one?

  1) You can’t install a theme. You can only upload plain (and limited) CSS

  2) Changing the URI requires a different paid upgrade.
