changing link colour in Text widget?
-
i’ve looked at all the help topics for changing text colour, and that works fine. however, it doesn’t seem to work for linked text? is there a different fix for that? my html knowledge is fairly rudimentary so there might be something simple i’m overlooking. please help!

I don’t think you’re able to change the link colour, other than changing your theme or learning CSS and purchasing the upgrade to make the change.

I just tried it in a widget and it works just fine. Change my brackets to “<” and “>” and put these codes around the title within the link: link title. Obviously you don’t need to use green.

Really? I had tried a few months ago and it didn’t work, but then maybe my CSS overrode it. Thanks for letting us know.

I’d recommend you not to do it like this:
<font color="">text</font>It’s deprecated and of bad practice. Instead, try this:
<a href=""><span style="color:">your text here</span></a>That should do it.

yay it works! thanks so much. i had the “a href” and “span style” tags reversed, that must have been why it wasn’t working :)
