Changing link doesn’t take effect after update

    I have changed button links and updated the page but a few buttons still have their links. I double checked from the editor window they all look OK but in view window few buttons have the wrong link.

    WP.com: Yes
    Jetpack: No
    Correct account: Yes

    Ok, the button links get updated but after some time and when I temporarily change the buttons with the wrong link and click update again.

    Hi there,

    Can I see this on your homepage?  Or is it a specific place I need to look at?  

    I checked your site and the only links I found were in the site menu in the header, and for me those were working correctly. Did is miss the issue?Thanks for pointing it out!

    Hi,

    It was a temporary problem. I have 4 buttons on the download page which previously had links to a, b, c, and d respectively. I wanted to change the links to x, y, z, and w instead.

    So I edited the links, clicked the update button, and finally viewed the new page but some buttons still had the old links. I gradually fixed it in a minute after changing things back and forth, clicking the update button time again and time again until every button had up-to-date links.

    It seems to me that it is a glitch, maybe due to my browser’s incompatibility (Firefox) but obviously a dangerous one: What if I just click update and then just leave, thinking that every button now has the up-to-date link?

    I want to clarify that you were able to get everything fixed up? Do you need any further help from us?

    Have you tried using the desktop app instead of the browser for editing your site?
